Equipment Changes in AKC Trials

Beginning on September 1, the AKC will institute some equipment changes. I found this information in the judges' newsletter on the AKC site. Here's the rundown:

A-Frame - lowered to 5' 0" for 4's and 8's.

Dog Walk - no up contact.

Table - positionless table and electronic timers can now be used.

Weave Poles - only 3 attempts and then you must move on.

Tire Jump - lowered by one full jump height. So my 16" dog will jump through a tire 12" off the ground.
